Lisbon
I visited Portugal for a few days during my first year studying in London. I found a lovely 5-star hotel on a last minute booking site, paid a fraction of the cost and got a two floor suite. I can't remember the website but I imagine they're all pretty much the same. There's definitely better areas to stay in but I would prioritize proximity to a train station. Obviously I went to more places than I have listed, but this is my Do-Not-Miss list.

Food
- Osteria Cucina di Amici [By far the best food I had in Portugal, came here 2/3 nights for dinner]
- Pasteis de Belem [Famous Portuguese tarts, there looks like there's a massive line but there's so many tables you won't have to wait long]
- Time Out Market [Indoor food stall market]
Things To Do
- Jerónimos Monastery [Gorgeous old monastery near the water]
- Belem Tower [Old tower on the water]
- Walk around the Ria Augusta Arch
- Pedemeia [My favourite socks, they're so cute and don't slide down at all. Every time my mother works in Lisbon I ask her to get me socks from here]
- São Jorge Castle [The castle itself is fine to walk around but there's fantastic views of the city]
